The CMF-S system design is based upon the solid foundation of the Memcor CMF technology. The CMF-S system is designed for large-scale microfiltration, where multiple skidded systems are not economical. The CMF-S system is a pre-engineered modular membrane system designed to be submerged into new or existing open rectangular steel or concrete tanks. CMF-S is a vacuum system where the raw water is drawn through the membrane fibers with a filtrate suction pump. Clean water passes through a membrane surface that rejects all particles larger than .2 microns, including Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
